When was the last time you gave and received a gift? What’s the best gift you’ve ever gave and received? One of my favorite quote from a well known author of the book “Living, loving and learning,” Leo Buscaglia, said “Your talents are God’s gift to you. What we make of our talents is our gift back to God.” It’s the same with what I’d read from an article says, “Our life is a gift and how we live our life is our gift to God.” We are all blessed with so many gifts from God, our health, work, family, friends and love ones, even our own problems. It is a special gift we often overlook because of the pain it brings. We sometimes fail to recognize its importance in building our character and making us a better person. Without the gift of troubles and failures we will be as fragile as butterfly and we won’t able to attain the cloud of success.
Every day is a gift, a chance and opportunity to love, care and shares our blessing to others. One of our blessings is our talent; we tempt to keep it to ourselves and our ability to perform our job well, yet we sometimes choose to give less. Steve Prefontaine said “To give less than your best is to sacrifice the gift. We’re always called to do and give the best thing that we have in order to live life to the fullest.
